Its Dirtier With ONR !

I have been noticing that cars washed with ONR becomes dirtier after a rain fall, I see dirt and watermark forming in patches then when I wash with car soap.

Anyone notice this ?

I did notice that after washing with ONR and using a spray wax like Aqua Wax that it became a magnet for dust and left a "fuzzy" feel. Re washed and sprayed with Aqua Wax again but chased it with FK 425. Next day zero dust or fuzziness.

Sometimes certain things just don't get along when mixed with air.

Are you sure it's the ONR or your LSP?

Its the ONR, I last used OCW as the LSP on several cars and I did not use OCW after every wash. So basically the paint has about 2-3 layers of OCW from 2-3 weeks back. I notice that after every rainfall, cars washed with ONR becomes dirtier than with carwash soap . I know I'am not imagining things too !

That's funny 'cause I've noticed the exact opposite with AW....repels dust pretty well.

Must have something to do with that particular combination of products ? :nixweiss

never noticed anything like that, really dont see how thats possible once the car is dried. i use it on my own car and when it gets dirty its no worse than usual.

Could be the towel that you use to dry it as well. There could be some static E being generated that's causing more dust to stick to the surface and then.......

**off topic**

Are staticy MF's preferred, or non-staticy preferred?

I too have found that Aquawax *reduces* the dust accumulated on the paint after 40kms, but certainly doesn't eliminate it.

That's pretty weird... I'm glad I'm not experiencing that. That would be such a bummer for ONR users if the results were linear to other users.

I've noticed that if I wash with QEW prior to polishing that the polish removes more dirt from the paint than if I wash with a conventional car wash. NO rinse washes have a place but IMO they don't clean as well as a traditional carwash.

ONR cleans better than QEW in my experience. I have no problem getting even the dirtiest cars nice and clean with ONR.

i dont think that its the ONR/soap that removes the dirt in a sense....

its the pre rinse to remove the loose stuff, then the soap to agitate and loosen more stuck on stuff, then a final rinse to remove both.....

with ONR, its a wipe on to prerinse and remove in one step, but when drying, you may not get all the dirt off with the WW towel....that is the difference I think....I love my ONR by the way...

but if I have the opportunity to use a hose and car wash soap....I am all over it because its faster for me
