Seeking the perfect shine
I detailed my friend's 2000 S2000 b/c he's in the process of trying to sell it. It was dark when I finished, so, the pics are a few days later.
Process:
Exterior
Washed with PB's SS&S with lambskin mitt
Clayed with Blue Clay Magic & Homemade Lube (NXT wash with water in spray bottle)
Washed again
Wheels & wells cleaned with E1 A2Z using Tire brush, wheel well brush (green 1 from AG--nice soft bristles), and cotton chenille mit)
SSR3 & Orange LC pad (Spot treatment)
SSR2.5 & Orange LC pad (all over car)
WG Finishing Glaze (Megs Polishing Pad)
EX-P (Megs Beige Pad) -- The owner applied 1 or 2 additional coats by hand (I left him a sample of EX-P)
Tires & Wells dressed with BnB & buffed off by MF towel
Interior
Carpet shampooed with Prestone Carpet Cleaner and using the Oxy Clean method and hand brush.
Seats & Door Panel Inserts cleaned w/ Lexol Leather Cleaner & Conditioned with PB's Leather Stuff -- Seats DRANK it up....applied it twice
Panels & Dash dressed with PB's Nat. Look
I apologize for the lack of BEFORE pics....I always forget to do that! I detailed my DD this weekend, too...and completely forgot to take pics.
The pics are smaller than I'd like...and the light wasn't the best....but don't blame me! I didn't take them.
I looked at the pics and noticed that I didn't get the wheel wells dressed like I'd like.
I told the owner that.....and he just said I was nuts. He was ecstatic at how it looked.
