It's been a while -- new car, too!

Haven't been around for a few months -- work and travel have had me pretty busy. I did manage to sell my 1989 325i Coupe (which was in perfect condition, I might add) and picked up my new car in the Bay Area last week -- a 2000 Estoril Blue M Coupe. Here are some snapshots from this past wednesday -- expect more, better photos soon.

These are all pre-detail. I just detailed her yesterday and have the second coat of Klasse SG curing right now...took me 8 hours to do all four wheels!

Nono, it took me 2 hours each to remove the wheels one by one, clean them inside and out, Klasse them, and remount them.

I see. . .yah, that explains the time then. . .I thought you meant just to clean them on the car! Let's see those after pics!

Thanks guys! :D

You dog Ben! Congrats- now you and Clinton and CMT will have the cleanest Estoril's!

Hehe, it's a bit of an "upgrade" :)...

I *love* Estoril though. Much, much classier than the Alpine White on my old BMW. But I've seen a few white M Coupes and they look pretty sweet, too...

You know what they say though Ben, once you go black- jet of course, none of that cosmos crap, you never go back!! Have fun in the new ride and be safe.

The M coupe is growing on me. I know somebody in the bay area with a yellow one (bay area) that auto-x's his from another message board. Spiffness.

Greg, Cosmos is way too hard to keep clean! My dad's Cosmos 735iL was looking sharp for a while, but I gave up -- just too much paint acreage.

Hell, ANY black is too hard to keep clean ;)...

Corey, you talking about Rick Kim?
