The S430 is back, with more swirls than ever!



Day 1.



Here is the car before. I can't find any swirls, but thats because I can't see the paint! The car hasn't been washed in the last couple months because of the rain, so there was dirt and water spots all over.

End of Day 1

Not done with the car yet, still need to go over w/ finer polish and get out all the micro marring. There is no way I am going to get out all the swirls in this car, but I think it will look WAY better when I finish. Pics coming once I can feel my fingers again.
 
The water from your wheels look like huge black slugs to me :shocked . Very nice job though. Looks a lot better :clap:
 
I always see the horribly dirty clays and wonder why it hadn't been folded yet. With that much contamination, wouldn't it start marring the paint as you move it across?

JBs- Looks like you're making great progress, I'll be watching for the final pics.



Heh heh, how many times does the owner think you can do that sort of correction...wouldn't want the clear to give out before the lease/ownership period is up!

I didn't fold the clay because I didn't realize a clay could get that dirty after half of a hood.... I even used a degreaser mixed in with the wash, and it came out that bad.



I do not have afters under halogens, i do have some with my camera flash though... I could not get rid of all the swirls, but i wasn't expecting 100%, especially with this car.



I'm not sure if this is ceramiclear or not... its an 04. All I know is that this is VERY hard clear.



So once i resize the pictures I'll make a thread and link to it here.



I'm going to go ice my back now haha
 
Ok here are afters... I found out what wet is.... Its called Natty's Red :)

hmm i cant get all the afters to work... there should be 6 :nixweiss
