ITR, Civic Si, STi cleaned for show

Here are a few cars I recently cleaned before a local show.



First is the Fiji Blue Pearl 07 Civic Si. This is my fiance's car and one of my favorite colors to work with. We got the car back from the shop, getting the Mugen lip kit painted and installed, a few days before the show.



Wheels:

-CG Sticky Gel Citrus Wheel Cleaner

-CG Bare Bones in Arches



Wash:

-CG CWC via Gilmour Foam Gun

-Meguires Clay



Engine Bay:

-Purple Power 4:1

-303 Aerospace for the plastic



Paint Correction:

-Menzerna IP w/ LC Orange Pad

-Menzerna FPII w/ LC White Pad



Protection:

-Clear Kote RMG

-Dodo Juice Supernatural



Mugen Exhaust polished w/ Meguires NXT Metal Polish

Next is my 98 Integra Type R. I didn't get to spend alot of time on it but its garage kept and only sees a few hundred miles a year it didn't kneep alot.



Wheels:

-CG Sticky Citrus Gel

-CG Bare Bones in arches

-Sealed w/ Blackfire Sealant



Wash:

-CG CWC via Gilmour Foam Gun



Engine Bay:

-Purple Power 4:1

-Paint done with Blackfire Sealant



Paint Correction:

-Menzerna FPII w/ LC White



LSP:

-Dodo Juice Supernatural X2

Next is my friends STi. This car went all winted without being washed. The wheels took about four or five washes to come clean.



Wheels:

-CG Sticky Citrus Gel

-Tires/Arches cleaned w/ Purple Power

-Arches dress with CG Bare Bones

-Wheels sealed w/ M21



Engine Bay:

-Purple Power 4:1

-Plastic Dressed w/ 303 Aerospace

-Metal Plolished w/ Megs NXT Polish



Paint Correction:

-Menzerna IP w/ LC Yellow

-Menzerna FPII w/ LC White



LSP:

-Dodo Juice Hard Candy

Did you wax your girls body kit?

-just a thought cause if you did you might want to strip it off so the paint has time

No, the only product I used on the kit was the Clear Kote RMG. Thanks for looking out though.

Nice Type R! I too have a 98, but mine's a DB8 4 door Itr. How soft is the paint on your car? I've heard mixed things about it. Some people say that Type R paint is harder than the other soft Honda paints. Nice cars!!

They paint on the R isn't real soft. As far as Honda's go its on the harder end of the spectrum. The paint on the Si is however one of the softest paints i've worked with.

Sweet. We should meet up sometime at a meet/show/autocross/etc. My girlfriend lives in Wheeling, so I go through Washington a lot. I was actually just at Consol Energy Park for Steel City Racing's autocross last weekend.

I live about five min. from there. I was going to go up to that autocross it was just extremely hot and I didn't feel like driving my car w/o AC. I'll probably go to the next one they have.

Nice ITR..but it needs a oem front lip to go along with the oem kit imo. ITR's are so rare these days..very big on thief magnets around here.
