IS300 Top with only 200ml Permanon

TroyScherer

Ummm.... Ya.....
I just thought I would post up my latest clean-up. I spent about 5 hours on this IS300 doing a standard cleanup. Original LSP was #845 but this morning I decided to top it with PP as a nice test as I will get to see this car 5 days a week. Nothing really to write home about except for how much Permanon Platinum it took to coat the car.

I used a Kwazar bottle set to mist. I coated a panel and then used a MF towel to spread it out and dry it off. I was able to mist it on so fine that I was able to wipe it off like you would a spray wax.

200ml = 6.76oz

Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.

Thought Permanon should be applied to clean paint. Seems to me that the Permanon is now bonding to the 845. Is that what you were trying to accomplish?

Permanon will bond to "anything". 845 was my original plan for the LSP. But I decided to try topping it with PP. I know what I usually see and get from 845 for durability. So for me this is more of a test than anything to see if if increases the durability or the dust attraction.

Not trying to be a wise ass, but Permanon will not bond to itself. Don't know about the durability when applying over a lsp, but you will definitely see less dust attraction and what is on the paint while parked will blow off after driving a bit.

No worries. I just received my PP last week and am eager to play with it. So this is a just for fun and information gathering on my part.
