IS300, Bentley drop, Escalade, Mega Cab Dodge

GOT PREP?
Here are a few cars that we have detailed over the past few weeks.

First up was a *severely* neglected IS300. The hood was repainted (and burned on the edges), but the rest was factory tinted clear. Really soft paint, so it corrected fairly nice (all things considered).

Here’s the burn

This Escalade was in pretty rough shape—I wish that we would have had time to take pictures of the interior! We repaired the paint with Meguiars #105, PO106FF, and sealed with NXT 2.0

A few pics of this monster! We fully corrected the paint (it was brand new, but received the dreaded new car prep and free dealer installed swirl option). We also installed paint protection film to all of the rockers (the complete length of the truck), the hood, fender, and front bumper.

This Bentley was brand new and was delivered via truck to the new owner here in town. Obviously they were not happy with its condition upon arrival.

Very nice as usual...

I noticed the use of NXT 2.0 on all the vehicles, any reason? How do you like 2.0?

I'll chime in and say that 2.0 looks REALLY good on my Black Mica. I was really surprised, and frankly, blown away by the look. VERY wet and nice and slick.

Just giving it a go--I will probably put the rest of what;s left in the garbage.

The look is amazing, but it died on three different vehicles in under a month. I will post a full review after I finish re-sealing all of the vehicles as they trickle back in for service. :D

Great work as always.

BUMMER!!! Sorry to hear that. I wonder if M21 2.0 is any better?? What kind of longevity are you getting out of 845IW?

First off, the cars look fantastic. Also, the garage is killer. Looks like lots of room to move around in.

My question is about the 106/Sip combo. Isn't that really strong for the soft paint of a Bentley? Is that why you finished off with the PC?

I take care of four of them and always finish with the UDM because of the soft paint. I am not questioning your ability. What I want to know is if I can get away with that myself. I have ussed SFX1 on them before but not with a rotary. As we speak I have a Cont GT running off the CD2 right behind me.

Great work!!!

Great work!!!

You mean the 105/SIP combo?

It worked great with a polishing pad and 1500 RPM's--didn't seem too aggressive at all. :nixweiss

Great results on all the cars. Only thing I didn't like was the greasy look on the Escalades tires. I know how different tires can look different with the same dressing, because the others look great.

I hate mega cabs. Nothing is easier than polishing a bed, and those trucks have less bed and more door. Lose lose situation in my books.

Looks great, all 4 of them, good job.
