Is Zaino the best polish?

I have alot of good products- Collinite, Souveran, Zymol, Poliseal, Menzerna, etc.

I like using Carnuba waxes over syntethic.

I am thnking about winter protection and i am thinking about using Poli-Seal followed by Collinite 476s.

I have never used Zaino but I read alot of people that use it.

What is so great about Zaino? Is it a polish? Does it contain wax?

My cars are in excellent shape as I spent the summer claying, polishing with Menzerna and Meguiars polishes using a Flex followed by some glazes and great waxes.

Is Zaino compatible with my other products?

Please advise

Thanks

Frank

Z2PRO and Z5PRO are pure, long lasting sealants. ZAIO is a *very* mild abrasive cleaner and light protectant. ZPC is the only real "polish" in the Zaino line up.

You need to thoroughly cleanse the paint of polishing oils before using any of the sealants.

I switched from Zaino to Gloss It and am happier with Gloss It's overall look and durability. You can apply multiple coats back to back of the Gloss Finish sealant without using an additive like you would Zaino and the Gloss Finish sealant cures within 10-15minutes which is a plus. For hardcore durability 2-3 coats would do fine and weekly just wipe the car down with the Gloss Enhancer spray from Gloss It, its made with 5% of the same polymer sealant used in the Gloss finish. Its a lot like a Zaino Z6 or Z8 spray.

The honest answer is that that Zaino sealants are good, put them next a host of other quality sealants and you are hard pushed to find much of a difference.

I am a huge Zaino fan but there are others out there that are also very good. My second favorite sealant would be Opti-Seal and then in no particular order Wolfgang, Megs 21 v.2 and AJ Trigger.

Zaino is the real deal, ZAIO and CS is about all I use these days as far as LSP's go. Deep wet look with true durability. CS and ZAIO is compatible with anything you got.

On dark colors, Zaino, especially Z8 has more noticable glow than Duragloss.

Which Duragloss product? #105, or something else? I tried both #111 and #105, and to be honest, I didn't think the 105 delivered as much "pop" or "glow" as the 111 did on a silver vehicle.

Back when I used to have my Grand Prix, I entered many car shows, and quite a few people there were using Zaino products. The cars looked good, but none really jumped out at me. At the time I was using Liquid Glass, and I parked my car right next to an identical red Grand Prix at the national Grand Prix Gathering's car show one year, and he was using Zaino. Just to get the opinion of a 3rd party, I asked a few attendees if they could tell me which car had Zaino, and most pointed to mine!

So far, Duragloss #111 is my sealant of choice, at least on a light color. It's far exceeded what Liquid Glass delivered in both gloss and durability. I also like how slick the surface is afterwards. With a couple sprays of Aquawax, the paint is so slippery that even a towel won't stay put on the hood. (I'll bet that's what they used in Super Troopers..."Nice wax job, rook!". It's that slippery!) I also prefer a sealant over a wax since it doesn't seem to attract dust the way that a natural carnauba wax can.

Nothing can touch Zaino for durability ( for me) looks are subjective. The Zaino haters will throw all their

product of choice at you. For me though in New England weather nothing lasts as long a Zaino and I have and have used almost everything. I will say that DG is the only thing comes close. As for wax Collinite is the Zaino of wax.

Duragloss 111 lacked pop on my navy blue mettallic. Zaino delivers a much better glow. On white 111 looked good. Hey, if your sold on Duragloss stick with it.

It certainly lasts a long time, but its gathered somewhat of a cult status, which makes me stay away

Yeah, I was at the last Zaino Cult Members Meeting in Las Vegas. We read from the Zaino scriptures, talked about how Moses cleaned Pharoahs sword with Z2, how Joshua polished his trumpet with Z5. We broke bread and drank Z6, and married a bunch of young girls.

That's pretty funny:xyxthumbs

I know Zaino calls a number of their products polishes but I consider them a paint sealant. So I wound not consider Zaino the best polish. I think Menserna makes the best polsih. The looks of Zaino has gotten better but I still prefer the looks of a nuba.
