The dealer ran my white Audi through the Tunnel of swirls after I specifically requested no wash. Car was spotless when I brought it in, so I don't even know why they thought it needed a wash at all!! Now I have minor swirls and spiderwebbing all over the car!! When I have used OHC followed by OP in the past, I always have hazing that is very difficult to remove. I was compounding with a yellow 4" LC pad and polishing with a Orange 4" LC pad.

I have since ordered a white 4" LC pad and the black 4" pad. I have used these aggressive pads simply because the Audi paint is rock hard, and these seem to barely work as is. It is hard to see when the OHC turns clear, as this is a white car.



What I am planning on doing for the dealer's damage is OHC via yellow, followed by OP via orange, followed by FPII via white, topped with Natty's Blue and Aquawax as the topper.



Is this overkill on the polish? I am using the FPII to hopefully remove the hazing.



Please give suggestions.

Is the orange pad maybe leaving the haze? I would try switching to lighter cut pad with the polish. :nixweiss I'm no expert, but that seems logical to me.
 
Krautfed 03- I've never used the OHC, but I bet it'll be reguired as I use (what I suspect are) similar products for the initial correction on my Audis. I recently removed a few RIDS from ours using the PC/4" and based on that, the only change I think you might make is to use only an orange pad for the most aggressive work instead of the yellow. I still dropped down two polishes before switching to LSPs, but I used an orange pad for the major correction and then a white pads for the first milder polish. Using orange instead of yellow, and switching to the white ASAP makes for less hazing/micromarring, which in turn means less overall work.



I used different combos when doing each car, but the one that's closest to what you're using was: H-T EC mixed with a little OCP/LC orange, then OCP/LC white, and finally 1Z Pro MP/Cyclo brand white (a finishing/light polishing pad between the LC white and black). I had things perfect by most standards before switching to the 1Z Pro MP, which I use instead of FPII, so I'd recommend that you don't switch to the FPII too soon. Using the white pad with the OCP (instead of an orange pad) is what makes this approach work IMO.
