Ok so im just checking again to see if what i have is enough to make a car shine and to cut threw scratches. well i have

CCS orange pad

CCS blue pad

white foam pad (its really soft)

Menzerna Intensive polish

Menzerna Final polish

Optimum hyper compound

Optimum polish

Optimum poli seal

is it enough to have a banging shine.

i cant tell you a brand because it came with my chicago power tools rotary, also can someone explain what i should use first to last because i just wanna have things straight

In terms of aggressiveness....

Optimum Hyper Compound

Menzerna Intensive Polish

Optimum Polish

Menzerna Final Polish

I would recommend using the CCS Orange pad to get out all the defects. Use Menzerna IP for light defects, OHC for heavier defects (and follow up again with MIP). When you're done that step, follow up with Menzerna Final Polish on the CCS Blue pad. It has zero cut so you'll just be amping up the gloss.

Don't bother with the pad that came with the kit.

thanks also

i tried doing my 740 with these steps and i still got swirls and i couldnt get the scratches out what do you think it going on,

Menzerna IP orange pad

Optimum polish orange pad

Final polish blue pad

poli seal blue pad

i still got swirls and stuff

No need for two finishing polishes. Just use Menzerna FP. About the swirls...it sounds like you're not removing all the defects in the first stage. You have to make sure you have the right lighting. A set of 500w halogens should do the job. They will enable you to see whether the panel is perfect before moving on to the polishing step which will remove only very minor defects.

Yes, compound with Menzerna IP and Optimum HC if necessary to remove RIDS.

Poli-Seal contains a sealant that will protect your paint. You may use the Blue CCS pad but you must wash it vigorously before using it with OPS.
