Is this enough OPM's for SMR?

I have a WEN 8400opm RO buffer. 8400 seems a little fast for me, and I have always heard that a speed of 7-8 on the PC is good for SMR, so wouldnt this be powerful enough? Or is it too powerful?

BTW: its 1.8 amps.

My PC only goes up to a speed setting of 6, and it works for swirls.:nixweiss

I would imagine that is plenty to remove some light swirls.

I ask you to look at DavidN and his PC that goes to 7. Then look at this: (you should have your PC check to make sure it operates correctly ;))

Shhhhh!!! That's the secret mod... only for those of us who regularly attend the meetings... er... ummm... nevermind... I didn't say that... completely disregard this response...

Have a nice day. :)

I don't know much a orbital buffers, but I thought when they turned around it would still be called RPM's. What does OPM's stand for Ovulations Per Minute?...

ovulations... lol yes my buffer has been ovulating a lot lately... heh :D

No, OPM stands for Orbits Per Minute. RPM stands for Revolutions Per Minute.... which means it would be spinning in regular revolutions. But its a random orbital, so.. yeah you understand right?:xyxthumbs

LOL! :D In 1 minute you could potentially have 8400 tiny boy and girl orbitals buzzing around the garage....

ROTFLMAO! :bounce Thats great, now I have a mental picture of 8400 little WENs buffing my car at once, and scooting around my garage.. hehe

Sweet! I could use 8400 orbitals around the house! In one hour I would have 504,000 of them. My car would always be swirl free, washer would always be waxed, and my shower will always bead water like none other!

Why did I just type that... :nixweiss
