Is this a good PC starter kit?

That is an excellent combo. I support AutoGeek due their awesome customer service as well as prices.

What chemicals will you be using?

You can get combos with them as well.

Im a little confused about their description of the white foam pad.
High absorption foam formula for the application and removal of waxes, polishes and sealants. The white pad is constructed of medium-textured foam is designed for application and removal of polishes and waxes. It has an ever-so-slight cutting ability to enhance the application of pre-wax cleaners.

vs.

High absorption foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so its perfect for pre-wax cleaners.

These quote directly extracted from their site.

Just my .02, and Im not condoning AG in any way. I have bought from them before as well, stand up company in my book. but..........You may want a little clarification on that white pad. I have use white LC's before and would never consider using them for product removal or sealant application.............

Thanks for the heads up on the description.

From what I have read, my understanding is that the white pad would be used with a polish application and used when there are light to moderate spider/swirl marks that need to be worked out. And then the polish be removed with a MF towel. This was my plan anyway.

I also thought that it the finish only showed ever so slight marks on the paint that need to be worked out I would used the gray pad.

I would guess that I would use the gray pad after the white pad if the white pad had been used.

The polish I had planned on using is the Optimum Polish, followed by Zaino Z-2 by hand (with ZFX mixed in), then a coat of Z-8.
