Is there anything better than FK425?

How does #425 compare to Zaino Z6 (which is my point of reference)?

Its a lot slicker and has a deeper gloss IME.

I have the new Meguiars UQD, and I STILL think 425 is superior.

I fall into that category as well..here's a tip..we're not cheap, we're parsimonious! Sounds so much better, don't you think?

I'm not going to lie; I ask for samples with every order. I like trying new things and I subsequently buy full-size containers of the products. Really, giving away samples is a win-win proposition; the costumer is happier and there's a better chance for future sales. We're all opinion leaders within our respective circles of association. Our recommendations go a long way, even coming from a relative noob like myself. I've given away FK1 samples to have folks call and say they've placed orders.

Can you get 2-3 weeks out of it? I cannot really tell how long z6 lasts...

Is there anything better than 425? Of course there is, but what is better (or best) is purely subjective and highly dependent on the individual. That being said, 425 is my preferred QD ATM.

Big Al, thanks for the best price tip. It never hurts to save money.

In regard to the new Meg's UQD, I thought by now there would be more input on it's longevity. A lot of people seem to like it's look but nothing is said about how well it lasts.

What the Professor said about not being new paint or body shop safe, does bother me, thanks for that piece of input sir.

As for SpeedShine I haven't heard much about it here (Autopia) so I'm at a loss to it's attributes, don't remember seeing it at AG or TOL either, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

My main concern is how the QD reacts "Over" a Carnuba, I never even considered that it could possibly look different over a sealant (ignorance from lack of thinking), that was some good information.

What is the lowdown on SpeedShine as to look and longevity?

Out of Z6 or 425? I wouldn't use either as a coat of protection, whatever beading/slickness I've seen after the wipedown is more of a side benefit.

Well, mine is currently sitting in 100+ Arizona Heat, so we shall see what it does when I get back home and wash it.

RCBudda, I've been through Arizona, if it lasts a couple weeks on your car in that heat it would have to be something special. I really love "hot weather" but Arizona go's way past hot.

100 degs, hmmm, must be a cold spell coming through, LOL.

Anybody compared FK425 to CG's Extreme Slick Synthetic?

There is no comparison...425 outperforms that CG product in durability, looks and smell appeal. I like bubble gum vs. lemon pledge smelling product.

Then I am curious about it. Which category would Blitz fill in? I am also intrigued by JDookie's statement he uses Optimum Car Wax as QD.

:2thumbs: i love it...basically my search for the right QD was over when i bought the 425. i've been using it for 18 months constantly...and very happry with it...it has a great look on my black acura!:idea
