Is there any National Mobile/Shop Detailer directory?

I know what you are going to say. Just go look in a phonebook for a detailer, but I want to find someone who is really into detailing and not out to just scam me or do a crappy job. Besides, its hard to trust a total stranger with your car.



I live in Chicago, and I am finding it EXTREMELY difficult to find any central place to look up or find mobile detailers or good detailing shops. This also applies to detailers across the country as well. Just thought I would ask and see what you guys thought about this idea?

P.S. If you know any good mobile detailers in Chicago please let me know! Good luck with your businesses, it's a great business to be in and very helpful for us with new cars who keep beating them up!



EDIT: I wanted to update to say I found Detailing Directory | Auto Detailing Shops | Mobile Detailers | Mobile Detailing Businesses | Paintless Dent Repair Businesses | Glass Repair Businesses | Windshield Repair Businesses | Airraft Detailing Businesses | Boat Detailing Businesses | Natio and looks decent. However, I still have the question how reliable and good are these mobile detailers on the list? Why should I trust them when I don't know them?

Exactly why I dropped my business line and now have just a cell phone and a website. All I have been getting out of the yellow pages the last several years is price shoppers.



Jim is right, this is a great place to find a quality detailer. Most of the people here who detail professionally have a real passion for it and detail at an enthusiast level, not a corner cutting tote-the-note lot level.
