Every year Bicycle dealers get the Inter-Bike show where bicycle retailers get to go check out new products for next year.
Same for winter sports, and of course SEMA for auto accessories.

Is there one of these for the Auto Detail industry? :dontgetit

Well im thinking that the AutoGeek.net Detail Fest that max had this year might be the beginging of a new Event. Im glad i attended the inauguration :yourrock

I'm glad that you had a great time but that little Detail Fest at Autogeek was certainly not SEMA.

I believe they wanted an answer along the lines of this one:

I never said it was the SEMA but rather the begining of something that will grow. Of course it was nothing like the meguiar's detail event. Also that link you pointed out seems to be for people that are into mobile detailing & that want to know how to do & how to geti into detailing. I wouldnt consider it a Sema like show for Enthusiats like us.

The link that I provided is a trade show for the auto detailing industry. He was not asking about detailing "event" where people stand around watching people detail cars but asking about trade shows where products are featured by vendors that set up booths.

If you look at some of the exhibitors at SEMA you will find names such as 303, Meguiars, and Mothers, even though it is not geared directly towards the detailing industry there certainly is representation there.
Also on the list is Dupont and PPG, information from them regarding new types of finish and how to make them look their best would also prove be a plus for a detailer.

That expo is geared more towards the tunnel car wash industry and less towards independent auto detailers. The one down in Florida would be more beneficial and geared towards a mobile or fixed location auto detailing professional.

If you want to learn more about the tunnel car wash industry, the link that you provided would be great.

Yea, After I posted, I did a little bit more reading on the expo and thought it may be directed more toward the drive through style wash.
Thanks for the input. :bigups

ICA show has some vendors for the detailing industry but not that much . Mobile Tech Expo would be the best trade show to attend if your a Detailer . You can find regional Carwash & Detailing trade shows , but these are geared to the carwash industry more then the detailing industry. They do have some things to offer the Pro Detailer .
