Is there a better Souveran?

I've been guilty of claiming to be able to see stuff in pix, but honestly sometimes even when doing 1/2 a car with one product and 1/2 with another, its hard to tell. Unless you are comparing completely different products like a carnauba to something like KSG, its almost impossible to tell on a single panel. You really need the contours and body lines to see differences and even more so, different lighting.

I've done several comparisons of different lsp's myself, with one half of the hood done with one and the other half with another. I rarely see much, if any, difference. Yet, I *still* believe that different LSP's do look different, but those differences are more likely to be noticed when taken as a whole vs a side by side comparison.

The bottom line though, in my opinion, is that what differences there are in appearances between LSP's, they are pretty small.

I've got Souveran and Fuzion and 99 times out of 100, I reach for Carnauba Moose instead. Better darkening effect and durability.

hey Scott, do you mean the carnauba wax or the vanilla moose wax? and do you know the shelf life of those 2 and the machine glaze?

I said the one I mean, Carnauba Moose. No idea on the shelf life, you'd have to contact Clearkote.

Pinnacle's sig. II wax looks very different from everything I have.

I guess I'll throw it out there. Chemical Guys E-Zyme is some easy to use stuff and darkens the paint too. Decent durability for that type of wax.

also dodo's purple haze has the same effect.

Scott, I know you're a big fan of CMW, but how well does it handle through rain storms/snow in terms of durability? I know Texas can be dry & hot but it's a lot different here in the windy city.

Any one else here a fan of megs 26?...It has great darkening effects on black paint and is easy to use ..

Oh yes, I'm a big fan of #26. It's a real amazing OTC LSP for dark colored fiishes. Love it!

We had 17" of snow last winter, plus a lot of rain. Holds up quite well.
