Is that your final answer?

I would like to hear from anyone willing to chime in...what would be your ultimate choice in detail products if you could only choose one of each? (one prep, one polish one glaze one wax...like that)...what is your ultimate process - set of products as the world stands right now?

ex. Meg's Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner, p21s Paintwork Cleanser, Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, Pinicle Souverein......something like that

Note: please say if you're using a PC or not...I was hoping for hand products because I don't have a PC......

Well thanks for answering Tom...at least one person did...I was really interested in seeing the results on this one too

Ok, here's me:

Compound: Menzerna Fast Cut (power gloss)

Polish: Menzerna Intensive Polish

Final Polish: Menzerna Final Polish :)

Glaze (?): Menzerna Final Polish PO85U

Wax: P21S CW

Trim / vinyl / plastics: 1Z Vinyl and rubber

Tires: EO

Leather: Pinnacle for smell, Leatherique for treatment.

Now, if I had to choose only one brand, easy: 1Z (at least it's available locally ;) )

For hand or PC, it's 1Z. :xyxthumbs

Love the Metallic Polish, Glanz Wax, Perls shampoo, Tiefenpfleger, Gummi Pflege, and leather cleaner/conditioner.

OK, working by hand (probably by PC, too), I'd say you could boil it down to: 1Z Ultra for the compound, 1Z PP for the regular polish, 1Z MP for the (optional) "glaze", and most any last step product..if I *had* to say only one, I'd probably go with Meg's #16.

There are a LOT of good combos, and I don't use this stuff on all my vehicles, but as for a "minimal supplies" approach, there you go. VERY easy to do by hand, no surprises, and great, long-lasting results.

Thank you guys for answering...I'm shocked to hear about yet another product line though...rather than narrow down the ones I had already heard of...how do you ever make a freekin decission...1Z, Zaino, Klasse, Meg's, Poorboy's, P21S/S100, Eagle One, Pinnacle, 3M, Collinite, Mother's, One Grand, Menzerna.......this is nuts

I keep it simple by using one line (for the most part). I'd go with Meg's #83 (DACP), #9 (SMR), #3 (Machine Glaze), and either #20 or NXT. That is my general line-up that should be able to handle anything I do. I do have some #82 and #16 on order to keep my options open for various situations.

I like the look of NXT, but don't know the durability of it yet as compared to #20. I'll also be experimenting with #16 over NXT (thanks for the tip/pics ScottWax, like I really needed another wax! ;) )

The above is on an arctic pearl white Maxima. I also have #26, but prefer the look of #20 (and now NXT). I've topped #20 with #26, and could tell no difference at all on my car (hood split in halves to compare).

I prefer Meguiars because of the good, consistent results I get with it. It works for me everytime, and I like the look. I can also source most of it locally.
