NO, it's just a "cheaper"/crappier version of the M07. Both are functionally nonabrasive. The DC#2 Polish would be a waste of money.
Instead of using the cleaner wax I'm planning on buying the deep crystal cleaner.
I'd get their Ultimate Polish, or Scratch-X v2.0 instead. Or even Color-X. The DC#1 Cleaner is a basically nonabrasive paint cleaner and I don't see that doing anything for you.
I already have the deep crystal carnuba.
Yuck..but you have it so, well...OK. NXT would be better and will hide very minor stuff.
So do you think Meguiars deep crystal cleaner followed by meguiars deep crystal polish, followed by meguiars deep carnuba is a decent plan?
Not in your case. I'd use the UC, follow with a milder product like the Ultimate Polish or Scratch-X (but let the UC do 99.999% of the work) and then wax it.
Eh, I'm no expert on OTC stuff but the preceding "don't buy that!" advice is solid.
You are right about the touch up paint. I wish I never tried to apply any touch up paint at all. One day I will get the whole car painted but not soon because money is tight. As bad as my car sounds I had a neighbor ask me if I bought it new. The car is 10 years old so it cant look too horrible if my neighbor thought it might be new.
That's a good example of the diff between Autopia and the Real World

Use the UC..you know it's a PIA but you also know it does do something. Then follow up with something milder and then just wax it and live with it, knowing that it looks better and that most people will think it looks swell.
