Is RMG new paint safe?

My car's going in for body work yet again :hairpull and I'm looking for options for detailing the paint until I can wax again. Is RMG supposed to be new paint safe?

I believe it is since it doesn't leave any kind of wax behind. VM on the other hand will leave a layer of protection.

I have some of the FK stuff like 2180 that they claim is safe, but for now I'm looking for glazes that I feel safer with. With my dark red car I'd really like to try RMG.

This is an area of great controversy. After say a month you can go ahead and seal it with whatever you want. I have several cars with fresh paint on them. The latest painted with Spies Hecker....... Painted over three years ago( NOT REAL FRESH). I waxed and sealed it the first month. Now it is over three years later. No PROBLEMS at all. NONE O. That is my finding anyway. I sand and buff new paint continually....mostly high end stuff. I use glazes and polishes....the body shop told me wax it in a month, after my own car was in an accident. Its really SUPER hard to wreck the hard clearcoats made today. Maintaining it wont hurt it. Paintxpert Again this is a subject of GREAT controversy. So again.....DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!

I know 3M Imperial Hand Glaze is safe on newly painted cars before the 1 month wait. I used it extensively when my car was hit and repainted at the dealership. Its available locally in a 16oz bottle, has no silicones/waxes and is fairly inexpensive.

If you can park the car overnight in your garage and not smell fresh paint in the morning, I'd say the paint is pretty much cured. To answer your question, RMG would be new paint safe.
