Is QD ok to use when removing klasse twins

Tonight I was occasionally using poorboys QD to help get klasse SG off. I realized after starting that this could have an ill effect (clouding, causing the klasse to not bond, etc), and got nervous. No idea why I never thought of this before.







I guess this is one of the reasons the zaino 'system' is nice, you don't have to worry about things like this.







anyone know one way or the other?
 
Sounds like you've put the SG on too thick in some places. Maybe you should try using the WOWO method next time.



If the SG has dried on the surface for 8+ hours, I don't think you'd really compromoise the bonding much by doing what you did. I think I would avoid using pure water, though.
 
Try using Eagle One Wet Wipe N' Shine QD. I use it for a lot of things. I "prime" my Klasse applicator pads with it, use it to remove SG if needed and is just a great jack of all trades QD. To improve the looks of SG though, use Sonus Acrylix QD.
 
Well I didn't notice any ill effects when looking the car over today.







It was late last night, and I wanted to get one coat of SG on the car. Being dark I just went over the whole car with a PC and finishing pad. Then whiped it down after the whole car was done. It was very thin in most places, but as to be expected there was a stubborn spot or two, so I used the QD at those places only.





I typically use the WOWO method, but I haven't used SG in a while, so I just went with it:)
