Is PO85RD worth the $$$?

i work it until it becomes slightly opaque. Never working it until it starts dusting. this is also w/ 1 or 2 spritzes of water on the pad.

i'd say a minute to 2 min at most. i dont' really count... i watch the polish as i go.

If you need a wetter finish, go with 106FF.

If you need clarity, go with 85RD.

Tried it many times, and thats what i found.

So presumably, 106FF will be good to top of with carnuba for a wet, and gloss looking paint while the 85RD is excellent for synthetic because it brings out the shine.

I detail my black car today with 106FF today. This is the second dark car I detailed with 106FF and I have to say I love it. Definetly one of the best polish I've used. Nonetheless, I hope the pictures can somewhat help you make your judgement, but they do definetly make your dark car look wet!

I get it from the SA distributor of OMIKRON- he gets menz from the OZ menz distributor in melbourne where I believe mad IX got his from



Strangely menzerna 1 litre is very cheap and easily accessible here in australia

IP and FP are $29 to 32 and far cheaper than 3M or farecla



FP II is not available here yet

PO85RD 3.01 (new IP) is $36 and PO85RD (new FP) is a tad more



By hand I do not recommend anything but FP II - the others can cause marring when used with foam or microfibre pads
