Is microfiber the best for applying waxes, glazes and polishes?

i did actually check both of those threads as well as do a general search and I didn't find what i was looking for.

Foam is probably the best in my book for applying stuff. I do like the Mf apps for AIO though.

Sounds like a plan.....Experiment and see what works best for you. Everyone has their favorites products etc and for various reasons.



I am all for experiements then post the results in the product review section.

How about with Zaino? What do you guys recommend for applying Z2/Z5, foam pad, MF pad or cotton pad?

Foam for me but others like cotton and then I bet some like MF.

I actually use cotton for pretty much everything. I only use my Mf for buffing off klasse and cleaning windows. Everything else I do with 100% cotton towels.



I use Mf applicators for apply Klasse AIO and Klasse SG though. Everything else is foam pads.

I like using damp MF applicators for AIO because you can really work them in an really rinse and wring them out, just a durbility thing. For SG I apply with a dry applicator and I find that foam really spreads it on thing. Someone here is trying MF applicators for Z, it's not like it would hurt the Z or the paint.

I like Yo's response. Since the AIO needs a wet aplicator, I like the damp microfibre pad over the foam pad. It is small enough to not soak up too much AIO and waste it.



For the Sealant Glaze, I will probably use a dry MF or a foam pad. I used foam last time cause I didn't have an MF pad.



For the Wax (Blitz and Souveran) I will use the....I don't know yet - either foam or MF.



In other words, a good foam pad or a good clean MF or cotton pad will do the job. Many used foam cause the cotton pads soaked up too much liquid and you couldn't put it on thin enough.:xyxthumbs
