Is it necessary to follow up with something after a wash?

Hey There,

Question please; assuming a fairly recently waxed car (Duragloss 105), is it necessary/recommended to follow up with something after a wash?

Should I be using a spray wax or something?

Thanks,

Eric

A quality spray wax is great, it helps preserve your wax. On your personal car it's a cheap investment. If it's on a customer's car, they should pay a little extra for it. I like the Prima Hydro product.

OK, great.

I got a free 4oz of Optimum Spray Wax with my 128oz of ONR that I just received.

Thanks John,

Eric

He captured my feelings exactly. It's not *necessary* to do anything after a wash, especially if you use a wash that has wax in it already. But it's definitely nice to, and if you ask me it makes a pretty big difference in the lifespan of your wax.

Optimum spray wax I believe is designed more as a "true" wax that is sprayed on, so it should give even better durability than something designed to just be a booster wax.
