One of the real old-time Autopians (since 1999 or so) said that Sal used to post here on Autopia. I don't know why he doesn't any more. He'd probably have to spend his entire day on the Internet fielding questions if he were to post here, given Autopia's huge number of registered users.

Bah. Life's to short to waste time making enemies on the internet. I like Autopia, I like those guys. I'm registered here, I'm registered there. Next.

What's the difference if "Sal" posts here or there?

Scott and GSR, do either of you have problems registering over there? If so, why? Both boards are attempting to do the same thing, right?

Being relatively new to the forum, I'm completely ignorant to some going ons and happenings, so please forgive me.

Maybe you're NozeBleedSpeed - starring in the new thriller "Back From the :banned: "

Interesting comment for a "newbie" with a similar ryhming name. But, I'm just a conspiracy guy ;)

Just joking. It's a long story. I liked all their posts back then - very entertaining. That's why I joined their forum. I like reading over there. But, I can only post so many places!

That forum seems to be formed on the basis of negativity and it shows straight down to the language used in the posts.

One has to wonder why Sal Zaino would even bother taking a chance at ruining his nearly impeccable reputation to post on a board with 85 people that have shown that they prefer public hate-fests rather than common courtesy.

It's obvious that Sal feels ok to post there. (He does after all). My guess would be that the users on Detailersclub are sensible. I've been a member there for quite some time and I fail to see how you can deduce that the forum's posts are 'based around negativity'.

The same could be said about Autopia, where someone may post in disagreement regarding a technique or product. So, is Autopia 'based on negativity'. I guess so! I can't even recall the last time a discussion on Autopia came up that didn't make me roll my eyes out of the sheer stupidity of things that get posted here now. Like the other "old schoolers", I want Autopia 2001 back.

For what it's worth there are members on DC that have been detailing cars long before you were breathing. Show some respect.

After browsing through some of the threads over there, I don't see any negativity or poor language. Can you please highlight some specific examples? Because frankly, the only negativity and bashing I see is coming straight from you.

Sigh, you were and are a very angry poster. I could try to argue with you, but it would only make me mad. And where would that get me?

The boards are similar, and it's my best guess that eventually they'll be so similar that people will, yet again, split off. Detailing is hardly as much about skill as it is about marketting.

I shouldn't have even posted my original statement. It's very hypocritical coming from this board. I hardly post here anymore--I hardly care about detailing anymore for the reason stated above.
