Is it a sickness??

I guess this was a good thread to start, as the healing seems to be spreading in the form of admitting to the problem... and then getting more ideas for stuff I haven't detailed yet!!:xyxthumbs :lol Besides, a tub of Gold Class paste will likely last many years. Might as well use it up so I can buy more, or something else.

Wow, some of you are crazy to say the least. People think I am strange for using metal polish on my golf clubs to keep them looking shiny and new (forged Mizuno MP-33s for you golf gurus).

I'd get your son to do the detailing himself. Show him the right way and get him off to a good start with regard to taking care of stuff.

And years later he'll get a good nostalgia-buzz when he uses detailing products. Some of the stuff I (still) use is a great way-back machine; I smell those products and for a little while I'm young and immortal again.

I always keep a good coat of wax on my guitars. Yes, I have used botique products on them too. :D

Hahah, glad I'm not the only one who has considered this. However, I then thought to myself how would that affect the tone of the guitar? I'm not so sure that using car products on a wood surface that provides the voice of the instrument is such a good idea.
