Is Detailing An Ego Thing????

I feel like the ego thing starts when somebody uses a different method than you. I think it is a big thing with detailers because we all have our own procedure when we do a car. When someone else does something different the initial reaction is "Why?" I believe we all think our own methods are the best way to go, and that is where the whole ego thing starts. I don't think it has much to do with the products as long as you aren't using all Wal-Mart stuff..
 
Well being that i sucked at sports and grades were so so and im loosing my hair and i am a fat boy, this is the one spot I can have a ego..i guess. The biggest of all was about a month ago having a large detail shop( not a car wash) bring me a interior they could not get clean enough. Take pride in whatever it is you do.
