Is A QEW Wash Sufficient Enough To Remove Polishing Oils Prior To Zaino?

Gonna do a big job tomorrow and I was wondering if a QEW wash is enough to remove the oils from the paint cleaning/polishing products prior to doing layers of Zaino???

It would make things much easier since I am in a condo.

Thanks!!!! Regards, Eric

From Patrick Huber at Protectall: "Q & E Wash leaves a light wax coating on the surface."

I am sure you can apply Zaino after doing a QEW wash. It may not last as long because bonding might be compromised. If durability is not an issue than go ahead.

I would at least apply Z1 after washing to help remove some of the leftover wax or oils but the best thing to do is a Dawn wash.

If I used Zaino and washed with QEW this would be plan of attack.

1. Use the QEW for the intial wash.

2. Clay, Polish and prep paint for Zaino

3. Use a 50/50 Alcohol water mix to remove oils and fillers.

4. QD with Z6

5. Use Z1 or Z2/Z5 with ZFX
