<span class='bbc_underline'>EF Power Wash+ and micro fiber wash mitt
I received my Power Wash+ yesterday along with my micro fiber wash mitt. I had about 3 weeks worth of grime & grit on my car (I could barely stand it), so I gave her a healthy rinse and Hi Intensity'd the wheels.
I poured an estimated 1 oz of concentrate into a 5 gallon buket and filled about 2/3 of the way - <strong class='bbc'>WOW[/b] lotsa suds!!
I dropped in my new wash mitt and pulled out a ton of water and suds. It sure does hold a lot!! First off, I noticed that the lubricity of the PW+ is quite high. It also dissolves dirt, stains & grime quite well.
I flipped over the mitt and scrubbed again. The mitt acts really well as a scrubber, as I did not need to apply much pressure. The mitt is lined with foam and some sort of cloth and sewn down the middle (part way) to provide finger pockets. The inner lining is smooth and a little difficult to get a grip with, but it may just be something to do with practice as my sheepskin mitt doesn't have that problem due to the roughness inside. The mitt seems quite nice and is a useful addition to my kit.
The Power Wash+ lived up to Holly-Marie's comments and then some. Although CMA included a sprayer head, the liquid is too thick to make use of it. PW+ is a blue colored gel that pours slowly, which makes it nice so that you don't pour out too much. I found that you really only need about an ounce per 3 to 5 gallons.
There was a light wonderful scent (that was being overpowered by a neighbors flowering bush) and more suds than I knew what to do with. What I liked is that the suds didn't go flat as I worked around. Adding more water or swirling around the bucket created more. Now I know that it's not suds that are the important part, but they do help suspend the dirt (IMHO). The PW+ removed bugs and leaf stains quite well. The only thing that it seemed to have problems with was tar.
They recently paved in my subdivision and there was more than enough left over to splatter my car (and everyone elses). I ended up using lots of sudsy water and my fingernail. That finally seemed to work.
I was really impressed with both products and will continue to use both regularly. At $8.95 for the PW+, I feel that it is a bargain (you'll get about 30 washes out of the 32 oz. bottle). The mf wash mitt is $15, but I feel is something that will last a long time and provide good cleaning without leaving behind lint (like chenille).
