IPA/Water?

Do you wipe down any polish with an IPA/Water combo or only polishes that contain oils?

IMO use it as a spot check with all polishes

I do it in a spot when on my test area to sea the true level of correction, no matter what the polish. After all polishing is complete the entire vehicle gets a IPA wipedown to ensure the wax/sealant bonds properly.

i usually just do it at random spots on the car as i go along. after the car is done i foam it heavily, rinse, then foam again followed with a 2bm

I do a prep all wipe down before I apply any wax or sealant so it bonds better.
