Just curious as to weather or not I need to throw a coat of AIO on there before I hop on with the RMG topped with Natty's Blue. The paint is metallic black. I don't have the largest collection of products, but i'm working on them. My processes are as follows:

Lights: IP>FPII>AIO>S100

Darks: IP>FPII>RMG>Natty's Blue

Technically, could I do away with a coat of AIO on lights? I've heard that FPII finishes just as well as AIO. Is this true? Do I need to make any changes to my process? Thanks for the help guys!

I would say that AIO is not needed on either. Unless you are trying to get good bond, (like under AJ), just a wasted step. I like the finished look of FPII better than AIO.

Tomorow I am doing FPII-AJ-AJ-AJ
