Sure, if you're in this part of the country why not! There are some really good places to eat around here. We even have French food!
David Burroughs is a friend of my Dad's (and mine) that lives in Bloomington, IL. He is currently restoring Stearman Biplanes for the Smithsonian in his garage. David is the only person that the Smithsonian allows to do restoration work on planes outside of the institute. He's that good. He's also a stunt pilot. David founded the Bloomington Gold Corvette meet, which during it's hayday was the biggest and baddest vette meet of all. He stopped doing that in the early 90's because he felt that the organization was more interested in making money than anything else.
David has the most awesome vette I've ever seen. It's a perfectly restored (to factory - I mean perfectly) '67 Stingray. He started it up for me a couple of years ago. My wife about fainted - it's that nice. He was offered 200k for it and turned it down.
