Hey guys and gals, just thought I'd finally post after lurking here for a while.
I love detailing and I got my first taste of "pro" detailing as the head detailer at my local Ford dealership when I was in high school. Little did I know that I apparently didn't know much of anything (though I did learn how NOT to use an air powered rotary).
I came in here looking for some tips on restoring leather and was shocked at the depth of many of the details here. I used to do a wash/clay/cleaner wax/wax for friends for $100, they loved it, but I can see now there's much more to paint correction than 4-stepping a vehicle by hand.
Anyway, I love this place, just wanted to say hi, and I hope to gather even more info here. Lord knows my Volvo needs it
