I use the Metro Vac as well, at least for all my dry pickup. My biggest issue with Shop Vacs were the enormous hose sizes, I had a hard time using them in such tight spots.
I like the craftsmen vacs and they have never failed.
I also buy the HEPA filters as it reduces the dust being blown out the exhaust, nothing worse than having to remove the dust you just finished cleaning:notme::scared:
