Interior frost build up

Big Leegr

Swirls?!?! NNOOOOOOO!!!!!
Just a quick tip for those of us that live in the "cooler" climates. If you are vexed with internal frost build up, chances are you have a film on the interior of the glass. This could be from not cleaning the glass very well (of course, this would be in reference to people other than those that read these forums... :notme: ). It could also be due to a gust of wind blowing snow through the vents and screwing up your fine cleaning job by leaving little droplets of moisture on the glass.

To relieve the situation, clean your glass *REALLY* well. If you don't have the ability/access to clean the glass indoors, try using alcohol and a good glass cleaning towel. (Some to try might be PB's Velvet Smooth MF towel, surgical or huck 100% cotton towels or even waffle weave microfiber towels.) The alcohol will allow you to clean the glass even if it's a bit cold out, as it has a much lower freezing point than non-alcohol glass cleaners. (You should still try to have the glass warm, such as after you've driven back home from work or something, preferably with the vents still keeping the car warm while you are cleaning.)
You want to make sure you leave no residue behind, so be sure to buff it dry thoroughly! :inspector:

One person I showed this to was astounded at the difference this makes. His glass was frosted up daily, while mine never had any interior frost. I cleaned his glass (Much better than he typically would have) and viola! Clear glass in the morning!

Thanks dad! Now I'll do my daughter's windows tonight as she said something about her interior windows fogging/icing up.Temps here are in single digits.:passout:
