Interior Dust?

I gave my car a quick interior cleaning the other day and about 2 days later there is dust everywhere. I used armor all on the dash and plastic (I regretted that the next morning driving to school when I was blinded by my dash).

Is the dust unavoidable or is it just that the armor all is attracting it? I plan on getting some PB Natural Look in the near future for more of the "matte - doesn't blind you in the sun" look and I don't know if this will attract dust any less, or if it's just my car...

The Armor All may be attracting it somewhat, but many dressings will do that. Maybe you could keep a Swiffer around in the console for quick dash wipe downs.

The PB's NL doesn't attrack much dust for me and has a nice satin look. Another good product is the Meguiar's new Quik Interior Detailer. It has good cleaning ability and an extremely low matte finish... I mean "extremely" low matte finish! :D It also seems to be doing very well as far as dust attraction goes after a week.

I like the interior quik detail as well. Not only does it leave a matte finish, but absolutely no greasy residue which means may be the reason it attracts less dust. No matter what dressing you are using, a quick wipedown after you allow it to dry does a nice job of removing any excess.

I use 303 and ill never switch. Its amazing. Doesnt attract dust and leaves a nice but subtle gloss.

Did you just wipe it on or did you wait a few minutes (10-15) then buffed off the excess?? I just recieved my 303 and applied it it looks great so far I'll see how it looks in the morning and how well it repels/attract dust.

The nice part about the interior quik detailer is that you can continue to use your 303, and once a week you can "detail" the interior with the quik detailer without removing the 303 on your vinyl.
