Interesting Similarity

Was checking out Warner Chemical's website when I found something interesting. Insta Glaze Lite seems very similar to CG EZ Creme Glaze/Blacklight. Anybody else notice it?

I had samples years ago.. maybe 10 from Warner. When I spoke with them...Chem. Guys was just starting. Figured they were the same.

There are MANY chem's out there, but not a lot of true chem plants. Many will make you anything you want..change the color, scent, etc. Just have to get enough of it and plant your label on the bottle- good marketing is sometimes the game changer- not the chemical.

Jere something else to think about. Doesnt CG Black Light and HD Speed seem to be very similar as well? Both are purple in color as well as offer light correction and protection.

Now i could be mistaken but i remember hearing about 10 years ago that there is actually only like 6 labs that make detailing products. So chances are there are alot of products that look, smell and have same purpose but with about 10 different brand names

These are two completely seperate products. 3D is a manufactor of all there own chemicals and some other companies as well. Surprisingly they make products for things not related to the car care industry as well.

Car Brite is also in Illinois.

Speed may very well not be the same as CG Black Light but they do have alot in common and would be easy to think they are the same

Maybe Chemical Guys is made by 3D?

Not quite, but I would say that they are guilty by association.

Revelation time: Tunch (the owner of 3D/HD & Autopia) used to own Warner Chemical several years back. That would make Chemical Guys kind a like his off-spring. :secret

Another question is who are the real detailing chemical manufacturers? Warner Chemical, 3D, Premium Finish Care.....

Some produce their own stuff. Xpert make their own, 3D obviously do prima probably get theirs made by someone like warner, Adams is Warner too I'm sure as is poorboys

Was Four Star aka Rick from Florida making his own stuff or was it private label?

Nice guy, talked to him quite often many moons ago

Zaino and Duragloss - thats interesting - dont care for either so doesnt matter
