Inline filter for garden hose

From Lowes, GE Smartwater Model GXWH08C. You will need to buy male and female NPT fittings that connect to garden hose and about a 6 foot hose remnant. When you find them, there will be a whole hose of filter cartridges that will fit it - pick up the ones you want.



This will not remove disolved minterals, but can remove certain chemical impurities and particulate down to 1-2 microns.

Does Home Depot have something similar? I don't have a Lowes and have been meaning to try to find something locally to hook up to my outside faucet.

I believe it's used to purify your drinking water

Maybe $50-$60. Don't know about HD.



Got some other goodies at HD this morning, however:



1) Gorilla Ladders Aluminum Work Platform, about 3 ft long and 20" high (thanks to NozeBleedSpeed for that one)



2) Single portable 500 Watt lamp from Commercial Electric



3) Contractor level 1000 Watt on tripod stand, dual lamp ( the lime green one), telescoping pole extending to 7 feet. It was the display model and the last one in the store. Manager must have wanted to get rid of it and gave me $50 off on an $80 list price. Got not only the lamp, but about a years work of dust on it for a measley $30.
