Ingersoll-Rand mini polisher

I was kicking around getting a mini polisher for those hard to reach areas. I have been comparing this one to the Griot's 3" mini polisher. My questions are:



1. For those of you that have a 3", do you find that you use it often?

2. Which one would you choose?

Griots makes a nice 3" unit and you dont have to worry about an air supply.

Yes, in my OP, I indicated that I was comparing the Griots to the IR. As far as the air supply goes, that is not an issue.

I would go with that one since you will rarely be using this. Take the 70 bucks you will be saving and buy some more supplies and a case of beer.



Just what I would do and did do. It works great for small areas or headlights etc...

It's a bit more expensive, but I use this Dynabrade at my shop. It's also pneumatic and very well built.

Thanks, John. I actually like that one a little more. It seems as though you would have more control over it as opposed to the Ingersall Rand "pistol grip". Although, it is a little more expensive, I think I will give the Dynabrade a try.

You won't be sorry, it's really great for hard to reach places, door jambs, underside of spoilers, trunk lids, etc.
