Industrial Paint Overspray Removal

Question for any other full time detailers out there.....



A customer of mine has a hand full of vehicles that were hit with industrial epoxy paint. Some soccer goal posts were being painted on a windy day and they were hit hard. All comes off except on the porous black trim....



Silverado truck all black trim, mirrors, handles, bumper caps, bed rail caps, cowl. I tried the numerous things that have worked in the past, but nothing worked.

Any other detailers with ideas, would like to resolve without customer having to replace all the black trim on his truck

Never found anything that worked besides picking each speck off, as it would get into the grain. After the trim was to be replaced i tried Acetone and it melted the plastic.



I guess with proper prep, you could paint/dye it. SEM sells such products.

have you tryed a pressure washer with some real heat?
