Meguiars G110v2

Meguiar's G110v2 is all I've used.

I went through 3....all power cord failures. Then I finally got one that's tough! I've used it a year now with no probs. I never had any problems returning the other through Megs direct.

Would love to hear more about the others though.

I had a g110v2 that eventually failed, I think its the brushes and at the time they were on back order so I picked up a Griot's machine. I noticed the Griot's had a lot more power, almost an intimidating amount of power for the occasional weekend warrior like myself.

As per my signature: ive killed 3 g110v2's with cord failure and 2 griots polishers to which im going to say using an undersized cord (even though it was probably a 16awg cord.)

I have replaced the cord on the v2 and havent used it yet, but the new griots i have has quite a bit of power and i feel with my new 12awg extension cord i should be good.

But as dan said, id say the griots as it has more power then any of the other machines.

Shurhold hands down.... Don't waste your money on others. Garry man up and buy a Dynabrade attachment.

I ordered one last Thursday. Still waiting for it to get here.

I use a PC7336 w/ 6 in. backing plate (same model really as the 7424) on my Thunder Gray CTS-V coupe. Works great! Wise choice.

Hey Mike, how have you been, sir?

Out of the 3 I've used (GG6, PCXP, G110v2) I'd agree the GG6 has the most power, in fact I think speed 6 is too fast for most pads to handle, it's also the lowest price, especially if you get one during the Amazon deals, but the quality is also the worst of the bunch IMO. Yes it has the best warranty, which is good becasue you will need it.

I'd also have to agree with David the the ergonomics of the PCXP is the best of the bunch, at least with how I hold my polishers.

The G110v2 is kind of the middle of the road IMO. It has more than enough power to do the job and the quality should be far better then the GG6 now that the power cord issues are resolved.

Maybe after my 3rd GG6 craps out I'll look into the DB. ;)

Because Barry said so :D

Yeah, seriously.

Hey, he loved the Griot's (which would otherwise be my choice), but when he says the Shurhold is better that's good enough for me.
