This amazing machine is owned by my client with the Range Rover Sport which I did recently. Thread here: http://www.autopia.org/forum/pro-de...-range-rover-sport-full-correction-23hrs.html

He opted for a 3 step correction topped with Swissvax Concorso. It was absolutely great working on this machine. Moving it around, you immediately give respect to the tq that this V12 has! Stunning interior too. I couldn't stop looking at the guages. Ok, onto the detail.

Process:

-P21s wheel gel

-Swissvax Wheel Brush

-EZ detail brush

-Foamed with Dawn/APC mix then rinsed

-washed with Dawn/APC

-Clayed with Zaino Z18 with Megs Last Touch for lube

-rewashed with Dawn/APC mix

-Megs APC 4:1 w/Swissvax wheel brush on engine

Correction:

-Meguiars 105 on LC orange

-Meguiars 205 on LC white

-Menzerna 106FA on LC black

-ISO wipedowns

-Foamed with Dawn and rewashed

-Exhaust with M105 and M205

Interior:

-Meguiars APC 10:1 on leather

-Zaino Z10 leather conditioner

-Stoners Invisible Glass on windows with Cobra MF

-Vacuumed

-Swissvax Wood Polish

LSP:

-Swissvax Cleaner Fluid

-Swissvax Concorso applied by hand (including all jambs)

-ZAIO on exhaust tips

-Z16 x2 on tires

Total time = 27 hours

Here are the pics!

Looks like the Meguiars Last Touch provides some *slight* and probably brief protection. Look how the water is beading up after claying it with Z18 and Last Touch.

You can see the swirls here again in the sun, now that the paint is completely clean and ready for correction.

All taped up and ready for paint correction!

Some pics of what was waiting for me. These swirls and scratches would not survive the encounter with the Makita!

This headliner is so nice! And look at those visors! They are tiny! But because the roofline is soo low, they actually work quite well.

Rear seats. These seats, only a 4 year old could fit....barely. I could not fit at all, no matter what I did. With the seat all the way forward and folded forward, my legs barely made it in. My neck, not my head, was touching the rear glass and i couldn't even sit all the way back. I'm only 5' 10" too! These pics were taken with the camera held underneath the rearview mirror too. That should give you an idea just how close those rear seats are.

Thanks Barry! Yeah it has 33k miles on it actually! Client works hard and enjoys his rides, as they should be enjoyed. I actually spied a speeding ticket under the passenger seat. Though I will not say how fast he was going. Lets just say he enjoys this car ;)

Thanks man, shooting a PM to you now. :2thumbs:

Probably my ultimate dream detail there. Wish someone around here actually owned one.. Great results there.

I've always like Astons, but now I REALLY like them. This car is so much nicer in person. Thanks Jake! :)

Awesome detail on an awesome car!! I take care of a couple of these on a regular basis and they have by far the nicest interior of cars in that price range.

Sure, they look great, but they sound even better! Definitely an awesome ride..

Great detail! Amazing machine! I have a customer who I'm trying to talk into getting an Aston Martin to add to his collection just so I can get my hands on one. lol

True true. Amazing interiors. The sound was great too. Almost as good as the F430.

Ha, that is awesome. He actually drives his car.

The car looks great! Did the client specify the LSP or did you recommend?

Thank you :) I usually use Zaino, but when we did the consultation I mentioned the Swissvax option and he really wanted that one.
