Great.

What do you think about MK5 paint? I drive 07 MK5 GLI salsa red, and I have rock chips, even though I try to avoid highways and gravel roads. Paint seems just too soft.

I'd also be interested in hearing about the VW paint and whether it was hard/soft.

Great job on the detail, it turned out nice!

i have the exact same car (see avatar) the paint chips super easy but seems to withstand all my detail experimentation.

I'd like to here it from the detailer though. It sure looks better than mine right now : )

Man! Those carpets are sick! What happened? The owner trudged through a swamp then got in? Nice turnaround. By the way, what does the sticker in the back say?

Looks like "I'm not speeding, you're going to damn slow"

He looks stupid twice: first for the sticker, then for the wrong grammar. Classic!

Exactly...

Well I'd say "for the incorrect grammar", b/c that's correct grammar, irrespective.

You'd think all that dirt would protect the car from rock chips, but I know from my own MKV that that is just not true...

It seems really soft, soft enough that a touchless car wash marred the (remaining) paint on my hood.

The car looks great but those dirty door jambs really stand out on a clean black car...

Great turnaround, that thing was fuilthy. Those cars are really sharp looking, but that pattern on the seats is not for me.
