Someone broke into my garage a few days ago and took my boombox, pressure washer, porter cable and bike. this is stupid and I think this city (vancouver) sucks!:angry :angry :angry

Is this the same Vancouver as mine? I still think the crime rate here is on the "low" side compared to a lot of major cities though.... maybe he knew what to look for or you should move out of the east end (j/k

Im sorry to hear that, I had an attempted robbery of my gargae a few years ago. I was walking outside to get in my car and some dude was up on my step ladder pulling my bike off the celing.

In Richardson (TX) where my parents live, the Richardson police department drives down the alleys (where most driveways and garages are) and if one is open, they walk inside and leave a note on one of the vehicles that basically says "If I was a thief, you'd be calling the police to report a theft. However, I am a Richardson Police Officer and here are some tips to prevent theft...."
One time I went out to my car here in Arlington and the police had left cards on all the cars with boxes checked about anything they noticed that would attract theives. Only thing they noted on my car was that they could see my cell phone 12 volt charger.
