I'm gonna need a really, really lint-free mitt

My wife's new car has a felt liner surrounding the sunroof that lints up like CRAZY during a wash. I'm using a sheepskin mitt and I like it a lot in terms of softness, non-marring results, lint-free everywhere else, etc...

I'm thinking about switching to a high-quality MF sponge to avoid the liner problem. Any recommendations? Anyone using the Cobra Bone sponge?
 
Maybe I don't get the jest of your post, but why not just "avoid" the felt liner with the sheepskin mitt. Maybe hit it with a MF & some S&W before the wash or something. I don't think (and this is a personal opinion) that you'll experience the same marr-free washing with anything other than a sheepskin.
