I'm finally done with my Prelude!

Not a bad ricer. ;) Gotta get rid of them orange turn signals man! Very nice results from that combo you used.

Police in this part of the state are DEATH on "reflector" issues and will write you for them. :furious:

Paint looks great. You are making me miss the one I sold this year. We had a 94 red VETC. Great car poor weak Honda paint!

Actually I'm both in the LA and OC area...how did you know?....
:) He, he, he.

That shot on the road is totally LA, the street, the signs, the plants. My wife walked behind me while I was looking and from a distance she said, “that’s in So Cal.

The architecture of the complex looks totally OC too (but they build them like that everywhere in So Cal, OC, SD, LA, Inland Empire, etc).

The car looks great! Hope I get a chance to see it out on the road.

PC.

I've had the clear turn signals since the very beginning, but I decided to go with the orange ones recently because, to me, they seem to flow better with the yellow fog lights and the gold rims. One thing that's nice however is that it's one less reason for a LEO to pull me over :).

Is the paint original??

The car was repainted about 3 years ago - right around the time that I joined Autopia!

What were your camera setting in the 2nd to last pic in your first post? Thats a great pic!

That's one thing that caught me by surprise when I first posted pics on Photobucket, how it provides all your camera settings. When you're viewing one of your pics in your account, just click the "Exif Data" link and it shows everything. I think it's a pretty cool feature. Just as an example of what's available, here's the data from one of my pics:

File size: 42804 bytes

File date: 2006:01:15 20:28:47

Camera make: Canon

Camera model: Canon PowerShot S100´

Date/Time: 2006:01:15 18:13:03

Resolution: 600 x 450

Flash used: Yes

Focal length: 5.4mm (35mm equivalent: 99mm)

CCD width: 1.96mm

Exposure time: 0.033 s (1/30)

Aperture: f/2.8

Focus dist.: 0.46m

Metering Mode: center weight

Yes I have an old digital camera (the Canon S100), but it still does the job for most of my needs.

Sharp looking Prelude! Nice stance too. :)

I understand the long process too, that is just the way it is when you buy a used black car.

I say you smoke them, IMO it will clean it up a lot! Just smoke them very lightly and they'll match the rims better too.

I agree- a light coat of VHT Niteshades will soften the amber corners just enough to blend in with the car perfectly. Your car goes against all the ricer stereotypes and does Preludes much justice!

Which gram lights are those?

They're 17x7, +40mm, Gram Light 57 Pro in gold.

I was never into the whole "big wing, neon lights, etc" style of modding, but I picked out the parts on this car with the theme of being subtle to the masses, yet noticeable to other car enthusiasts. I suppose the rims don't help though :grinno:.

I wouldn't go with VHT, it has kind of a purple look when the sun hits it. I would mix clear and black and spray yourself, or get a paint shop to do it.

Nice car! Looks great. I am going to have to admit that I'm not personally a big fan of the gold wheels, but it is a very clean car, and I really think your modifications are tasteful. Most Honda drivers just slap on a loud muffler, a miss-matched body kit and call it a day, letting it rust to peices. Your car is awesome. Great work! :)

ggrrr... ignorance! "some" is NOT the "most/majority"

as far as your prelude. very very nice looking. i think the gold goes good with the black and the WW lip kit looks sexy as hell! the jdm headlights looks quite orgasmic on the black lude and are those the jdm fogs as well? since this your "daily driver".... what ya got for weekends?? hehe

nice work!

i have NEVER seen a prelude (or most custom honda's) that looked so good as your's in my entire life here in belgium!

And i truly mean that . Sweet car and sick reflection man!
