I'm bringin' sexy back, Saab/Lexus/Range Rover, for the last time for a while

I'll really miss your posts & pics -you have taught me a lot my friend. Best wishes on your new job. I'm sure training in Miami will suck (LOL).

World class work, as always Sean

Congratulations on the new job.

If you can even put half your talent for detailing into your new job, you will have a long rewarding career.

The best Mark

Wow you werent kidding about that Range. That thing looks awesome. I mean all your cars you've done are amazing but the Range just stunning.

Sean,

I'm glad to hear you landed the job/career!!!! I'm sure you'll do very well there!

Sad to also hear the limited nature of your business.

Does that mean you will not find the time for my Porsche? I was lazy one day and had Splash wash the car, BIG MISTAKE! The company should be called SCRATCH & SWIRL. They could not get it in the tunnel, so they washed it to the side. Then, I viewed this A-HOLE using the mitt he just cleaned the wheels with now on the finish! I stopped them, but it was too late. Manager at site was some young kid who I didn't waste time with him, just "advised" this tool of their mistake! So now it's full of marring, swirls etc. THANKS "SCRATCH & SWIRL"

My only tunnel wash that does a superb job due to they use the same equipment as Porsche and MB uses was closed that early evening or I would have gone there. It's Westport Wash & Wax. Detail shop does some pretty good work, but not fond of products used.

:D Remember, I have a few things for you in storage.. :waxing:

I'll have to catch up with you one day!

Regards,

Deanski

Congrat's on the sales position Sean. I've been in sales for over 30 years, and it's one of the best careers you can get.

I recently interviewed with a small BMW re-seller to do a limited amount of late model Bimmers on weekends (1-2 per weekend). He has a beautiful shop for detailing (which also serves as his showroom...very spotless) and has all the equipment needed. Plus, it's heated and air conditioned for creature comfort. He's paying a little less than my regular detailing prices, but with the shop and equipment, it's definitely worth it.

Have fun with the new job!

Thanks again, everyone :D.

Dino: I think your car is *high-end* enough :lol...We'll chat about cleaning 'er up.

Well, might as well go out on top. :D Those cars look awesome!!

Didn't you hate dresing the tires of the range? I did a black one not too long ago and the tires were a PITA to dress--too many "decorations." :D

Good luck on the Z06, man I hate working on those.... :scared:

Can't wait to see the details you do with all of the high end contacts that you will make with your new job--congrats!!

Top notch work, Sean.

Good luck on your new job/career. So, no more detailing 20 cars a week from now on? :lol

Thanks! Just this morning, some road debris was kicked-up, landed on the hood! The clear bra took the most of it, but I jot a few marks that should be removed via clay and a bit of polish. Man that pissed me off! But, thank God for the film!! :2thumbs:

You're always welcome to take her for some "cleaning" :chuckle:

Talk to ya later!

All vehicles today looks awesome, as usual !!

i'm glad to hear you found something that you "really" want to do !

i'll miss your wonderful transformations, but it will make the few cars that you post, that much more special :spot

congrats again and good luck :hifive:

congratulations on the new job!!!

did you find the gx470's tires particularly hard to dress? i find they need a lot of product because they don't absorb very well.

Best of luck and congrats with the new career Sean! I know how exciting it is to land *that* job that you've wanted for a while. I am sure you will be a valuable asset to that company.

On the other hand, I will miss your inspiring and incredible details.

Best of luck and :bestwish !!

Regards,

Mike

Joe: I didn't find them too bad. I scrubbed them down pretty good to clean and when dry, I used a foam applicator and saturated the tires (to the point where they were beading dressing). After 10 mins, I added a little bit more to the applicator and ran around again...I agree though, they have some *busy* sidewalls.

I saw the Z06 the other day. The dealer washed it when new and that's it. He drives it every couple of weekends so it doesn't see much of anything (600 miles). I don't foresee it being anything that a finishing polish couldn't take out (like 20 mars per panel, super minor)... but then again, we're talking about a vette here :).

Ken: Nope :). I've already started Opt No Rinsing our vehicles and it's still in the 50s. I am giving it up to the guys who do this in the cold. I did it for a couple years and MAN is it tough :).

Dino: We'll set it up :). BTW< thanks again...The GX470 belonged to Eric with the blue 997 C4S.

mreck: Nope, see explanation in blurb to ebp above :).

Thanks again!

AH yea, the nice blue 997! :bow Eric should be one happy camper! haven't seen it out on the road yet.

Yep, one day, we'll get together on "details" (couldn't resist) :p This way you get to run through stock I have including Menzerna and Meguiars and more. It's amazing how much products we all have just taking up shelf areas or storage in my case.

I'm sure I'll see you on the roads one day. If not in the Porsche, maybe the company Ranger truck. If you see a white Ranger and cap, look for the MOCCIA stickers on it along with a Porsche crest on the left rear window.

Enjoy Novartis! As for company car, any chance for a Hybrid? Some companies get tax breaks for use of these in the fleet.

Hope to see you soon one day!

Good luck and God speed on your new path in life young man. I know you will attack it with the same passion and commitment you have attacked detailing with...I have no doubt you will succeed tremendously.
