I'm back!

Thanks! Working on an Autopians black M3 that was a wreck when it came in...and soon realized after polishing it that it was a repaint despite the owner not realizing it (Certified Pre Owned does not mean that it wasn't repainted)..and this thin paint just doesn't want to be polished. Sanding scratches, scratches under the clear, thousands of pits not typical of a car with only 15,000 miles on it. Totally underestimated this job...lesson learned. The paint is 300% better but still has flaws.

Glad to know your back Richard. Looking forward to your write ups! It's been a while, hope all is well.

I can't believe a year has passed! So much has taken place. I moved to my own shop in Anaheim Hills (yes third move in Anaheim) in May 2010. I used to share space with another shop that built custom hot rods. I've got an amazing employee that helps me on details. We're doing weekly clinics on Wednesday nights. Our inventory is overflowing, lol. Cars are coming in steadily.

Welcome back.

I was curious if you were still using the Dirtguard Auto Wash System or moved on to something else?

Jeff

Yes!! She's a hard worker and helps me in all aspects of the business. One day she's packing orders, the next she's filling products, and the next she's detailing the interior of a car I'm working on, lol.

Here she's helping me wipe down a Silverado 2500 we worked on a few weeks ago.

OctaneGuy- Glad to hear things are going well! Must be great to have a good employee.

Thanks Jeff,

Absolutely! I still use and feel the DG is a crucial component for quality maintenance. I always keep one in my buckets whether I'm wetsanding or washing a car.
