I use a cheap (ebay) rotary w/IP & 3M polishing pad to get out swirls. Looks like your not keeping the pad level or its a poor pad. About 1200 rpm is plenty fast. As the product drys put less to no pressure on the buffer maby even lifting it a little and it leaves a smooth almost clear finish with very little product to wipe. Problem is technique (sp?) not the cost of the buffer.
