So here are some pics of my old Z34 of 3 years.

Always used Nu-Finnish and occasionally clayed.

And here is my new 04 civic ex, fiji blue pearl

first two are the day i got it home and cleaned up after the dealer, scanned film prints.

last one is taken from my window in the dead of winter (note to self, water still can freeze at 33* F)

Oh yeah, i got the civic with a dealer paint protection thingamajig. mainly because I needed the car right then, and was in school with 0 time to prep it for winter.

Not like they new much what they were doing (not applying it eveywhere, not getting off all surface contaminants first)



Anyway, don't worry, I won't be using Nu-finish on this darker car.

I have a small test going at the moment on the sideview mirrors. drivers has two coats of Liquid glass, pass side has that stupid rip off 5-star-shine stuff on it. (When I bought it I never realized they only give you an F*ing 2oz bottle!!)
 
The last pic (with the snow) is the only winter one, and I wouldn't exactly call them shruberies lush.



I need to get a shot of the paint in direct sunlight where there is nothing around to reflect. Or a night shot in a parking lot with those mercury vapor lamps, so I can show you all the pearl part of this blue.

I just think this color is fantastic!
