:scared i own 7 cars i keep garaged and pampered im looking for ideas on what and how to use products to make my life easier.......im looking for ease of applying, different versions of polish grades (for amount of swirls),waxes, and detailing sprays for bewtween washing when car is only dusty..........

i currently use zaino products including there qd and absolutley love it on my 2003 mini coopers, but have not tried it on my other cars yet since not sure how it would go on cars ive used other waxes on since most of my cars are covered inside and outside and dont see rain at ALL..........on my other cars i use griots garages products cleaning clay, there 1,2,3 polishes, and the best of show wax, all put on with there orbital polisher and i use zymol wax by hand on top of it just in case i missed an area with my polisher..........

cruizinrc- Heh heh, I'm not far behind you quantity-wise. I DO, however, usually keep the '84 Volvo outside these days. I use something different on most of the vehicles, generally dependent on what look I'm after or what I'm working with (e.g., the Volvo has TERRIBLY scratched paint that's worn too thin to fix by polishing). But I insist that ALL of the products I use be pretty easy to "get right".

At the moment, all except the XJS get some kind of synthetic (K twins, Autoglym SRP, Pinnacle Creme Glaz, BF-switching to PUPP). The Volvo and my wife's A8 get wax toppers (Collinite for the Volvo, 3M paste for the A8). The XJS currently has VM topped with P21S.

Don't worry about trying something new. If you polish first, or use a "paint cleaner" or all-in-one product, you won't have any problems. I'll bet that at least ONE of your cars would look much better with some other product. It can be pretty amazing how much of a difference different products can make. Part of the fun of detailing a number of cars is finding the right combo for each particular vehicle.

With all those vehicles I would go right to One Grand for one stop shopping.

I feel their products produce the best bang for the buck. Many of their stuff comes in one gallon pump jugs thus making them very easy and economical.

Blitz wax - Comes in big cans - a top 3 carnauba

Omega glaze - a great glaze

Special Touch - a paint cleaner

Exterior Rubber & Vinyl - protectant

Wash & Wax - car wash

Show Off - Instant detailer

Glass Cleaner - great

and much more.

Check out their website. Onegrand.com

If I had 7 cars to do on a regular basis I would probably go with S100 SEC and S100 Paste Wax. Very easy to put on and remove. You might want to do a search to learn more about it. It is available at just about any local Harley dealer.

Yeah, on the ones you drive theleast, I would defenetly switch over to S100, no need to remove Zaino either, you can just top it with S100 (I love doing that). You could then hand me over the keys to the wagon so you have one less car to do ;), and the ones you drive most often keep using Zaino because it last a lot longer than S100. S100 is really easy to apply too.
